Ontario’s parliament has voted to repeal the Canadian state’s Fluoridation Act and replace it with provisions in the Ontario Health Protection and Promotion Act. The Ontario Municipal Act will also be amended to remove the ability for municipalities to opt out or fail to opt into municipal water fluoridation.
