Smart network data collection for Chilean water utility

  • Technology

Issue:

Chilean water utility Esval-Aguas del Valle has awarded a contract to UK-based i2O for the installation of its new dNet network pressure and flow data logging and reporting system.

The Chiliean utility serves much of the Valparaiso and Coquimbo regions. i2O and its partner in Chile, Glemans, are to work with the utility to deploy dNet across its network, enabling Esval-Aguas del Valle to achieve greater visibility of its network performance and help it improve customer service. All data gathered will be available and accessible to Esval-Aguas del Valle from i2O’s dNet enterprise data platform, and the project includes production of level of service reports for the Chilean regulator, SISS.
