Updated US corrosion protection guidelines

The US Environmental Protection Agency has published updated corrosion protection guidance, aimed at ensuring water suppliers are best able to minimise the leaching of lead and copper from pipework into customers’ supplies. The technical recommendations relate to the Lead and Copper Rule, including the rule’s designation of ‘optimal corrosion control treatment’.
