Finland-based telecoms services company UROS has announced that it is adding its roaming IoT expertise to the Pisara smart water management initiative of utility Jyväskylä Energy to deliver a global service for water supply systems.

According to a statement released by UROS, Pisara supports preventive maintenance to avoid water supply problems and guarantee high-quality water for consumers. UROS, an abbreviation of Uni-fi Roaming Solutions, provides global roaming and IoT solutions for mobile operators, corporates and consumers. The cooperation of the two will create smart management solutions for national water operation system around the world, according to UROS.
