Global Utility Advisory Group for Smart Water Networks Forum

The SWAN Forum smart water network has formed a Utility Advisory Group with the aim of helping it promote smart water and wastewater networks around the world.

The new group brings together experts from utilities in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Brazil, Spain, the US, and Italy. It will help steer future research and strategic planning for the network.

‘As we look to shape our digital, smart water future, the SWAN Utility Advisory Group will enable us to better leverage the global expertise within our network,’ said Amir Cahn, Executive Director of the SWAN Forum, in a statement released by the group. ‘We are looking forward to providing a platform for the voices of global utility leaders to advance the smart water and wastewater sectors at this optimal time,’ he added.

The Utility Advisory Group comprises: Bob Taylor, Operations Director – Drinking Water Services, South West Water, UK; Michael Toh, Director – Water Supply Network at PUB, Singapore; Wagner Carvalho, Senior Project Manager at AEGEA Saneamento e Participações S.A., Brazil; Eva Martínez Díaz, Responsible for Smart Services – Innovation Department at Aqualia, Spain; Andrew Lee, Deputy Director at Bellevue Utilities Department, USA; and Emilio Lanfranchi, Water Utility Innovation Manager at MM spa, Italy.
