Future exhibitions in the Aquatech global programme of events are to feature a focus on smart water networks, following signing of a strategic agreement between the Smart Water Networks Forum (SWAN) and Aquatech Global Events.
Under the agreement, Aquatech’s China, Mexico and Amsterdam events are to feature either a smart exhibitor pavilion or smart feature in the event knowledge programme, or both.
Previous participants in SWAN pavilions have included Utilis, Bentley Systems, Controlpoint, Watener, Kamstrup, Servelec Technologies, and Aganova.
In a statement, Amir Cahn, SWAN’s Executive Director, is quoted as saying: ‘The SWAN Forum is thrilled to sign a long-term agreement with Aquatech Global Events to provide global exposure for SWAN members and leading solution providers. This partnership, which will extend across Mexico City, Amsterdam and Shanghai-based Aquatech events, will leverage the strengths of both organizations to help accelerate the smart water sector.’
Also in the statement, Annette Bos, Director of Water at Aquatech Global Events, said: ‘Our interest and focus is on start-ups and institutions leveraging new technologies and digitalization within the water sector. In our cooperation with SWAN Forum, we can ensure the engagement of leading players from across the industry and across the world.’
